Snoezelen: Dutch, "snuffelen" (to sniff, to snuffle) and "doezelen" (to doze, to snooze).... a room designed to provide exposure to soothing sounds, colors, sounds, effects, and smells. This is a picture from a facility I designed that included this treatment as part of the therapy in a school environment. Equipment was provided through a grant. The equipment has reached some students K-12 that did not respond to other situations.
